The German Chamber of Commerce in Austria (DHK) is part of the worldwide network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK). The DHK supports German companies wishing to set up in Austria. Often the reason for German companies to establish a company headquarters in Austria is the opportunity to claim the innovation-promoting research tax credit for research and development projects. In contrast to Germany, Austria provides for a research tax credit (since January 1, 2018) amounting to 14% of research and development costs.
The PFI – Platform for Innovation is the leading organization for innovation and innovation management in Austria with members from industry, SMEs, research and science. Since July 2017, the cross-industry network has been expanded to include the Platform for Innovation in Germany (PFI-D). Joint events are held annually by PFI and ITS Förderberatung on exciting and current innovation topics.
ITS Förderberatung GmbH offers services and consulting in the field of technology and innovation funding. Its strength lies in the interdisciplinary – technical and economic – support it provides to clients throughout the entire funding application process. The focus is strongly on the research tax credit. The sister company ITS Innovation Support focuses primarily on direct funding in the R&D sector.
